Exciting growth within the company has brought forth a new opportunity to work as a specialist OT alongside their multidisciplinary team of experienced Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language therapists, and specialist teachers. This company consists of 3 high achieving specialist schools catering to children with Special Educational Needs in the London Borough of Richmond.
Enthusiastic, committed, and highly flexible candidates are sought who have the ability to work collaboratively and actively contribute to shaping the growing therapy service. The OT will undertake various tasks, including:
- Supporting pupils to develop life and learning skills
- Developing, advising on, and maintaining therapeutic materials including adaptive equipment
- Delivering whole class, small group, and individual sessions as appropriate
- Contributing to the development of the OT curriculum in collaboration with senior therapists
- Designing resources to support the school and home environment
- Directing and guiding therapy assistants
- Working within the classroom to educate all staff in therapeutic approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
- Undertaking specialist assessments and writing Annual Reviews or EHC plans as needed
