Team Leader Role – Autism (Remote & £62,500)

We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to work in a high-performance team at a scaling health technology company and have responsibility for driving our business growth from day one within the Autism Assessment Team and be directly responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team of qualified clinicians.

This is a fully remote company, which allows them to provide fast track, affordable assessments to individuals across the UK so they can get the support they need. The founder previously worked within the NHS in the A&E setting and discovered the amount of people wanting mental health support could have been managed within the community settings.

Their goal is to offer seamless digital experiences to support exceptional healthcare services to NHS contracts, universities and insurers. They offer wrap around care in the form of assessments, psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation and therapy sessions all under one roof.

Salaries on offer up to £62,500 for the right person.

The role:
– Undertake one assessment per week and be part of a duty rota each week to cover assessments in the event of sickness
– Supervise and manage your team of assessors
– Maintain processes and policies for clinical governance and quality control
– Point of contact for safeguarding and clinical risk queries and ensuring risk protocols are consistently adhered to
– Be part of an MDT rota for complex cases
– Provide clinical inductions to new starters
– Interview job applicants for the assessor role
– Provide direction, service guidance and support to professionals within the service
– Facilitate CPD events, such as report writing workshops and other training events

You must have:
– HCPC or NMC or BPS
– Proven line management & supervision experience
– ADOS and ADIr trained to deliver diagnostic assessments
