Job description
Responsibilities:
– Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in patients that have suffered from Brain Injuries
– Provide therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice quality
– Use appropriate techniques and tools to facilitate communication skills in patients
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care
– Monitor progress of patients and adjust treatment plans as necessary
– Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication outside of therapy sessions
Requirements:
– HCPC Registered
– Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
– Knowledge of various speech disorders and their treatment methods
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients of all ages
– 2-5 years Brain Injury experience
– Excellent problem-solving skills to address individual needs and challenges of each patient
– Flexibility to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Salary: £35.00-£55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 36 per week
