We have an opportunity to lead the psychological therapies provision into our Personality Disorder Unit and Rehabilitation Services. Responsible for assessment, formulation, delivering both group and individual DBT Therapy, providing a psychological perspective to decision making around patient care, attendance at ward rounds and CPA review meetings, and working closely with and providing support to ward teams to foster trauma informed approaches to care. The roles includes you contributing to service development, attending national conferences and creating strong links with local universities so we can always do things better.

 

The person

  • British Psychological Society or a recognised training body qualification
  • HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist
  • Formal and accredited training in DBT
  • Have a strong grasp of a range of evidence-based psychological therapy models
  • Keen to develop in their role, learn new skills in new contexts and contribute to service development
  • A team player who loves to collaborate to achieve positive clinical outcomes
