Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Monday-Friday with flexible 8-hour or 10-hour shifts available.

The Community You’ll be Caring For: Patients at this organization’s Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics
The Role You’ll Contribute:
When you join the team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help patients heal, strengthen, and
renew. The clinics serve patients across multiple counties with a dedicated team of therapists, clinicians, and staff committed to their mission in the communities they serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in promoting evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through participation in research, journal reviews, teaching, mentoring, and clinical practice education within a peer group.
- Regularly participate in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships, with a minimum of 2 contacts per month.
- Support consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and other community outreach activities.
- Determine Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establish a plan of care, making recommendations for referrals if treatment needed is outside the scope of practice.
- Perform Direct Access Physical Therapy in the outpatient setting, as indicated per state Physical Therapy practice act.
- Facilitate further development of staff clinical competency as needed, collaborating with the manager on staff skills assessment and development of educational plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current valid State of Florida license as a Physical Therapist or Temporary State permit as Physical Therapist
- Board Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- 5 years of experience as an outpatient Physical Therapist (preferred)
